Volunteers Needed for AAYBA

Did you know that FMYSA is a non-profit run almost entirely by volunteers?

Volunteers are the backbone of our organization and we rely on our volunteers at all levels throughout the organization from coaches and directors to players and family members willing to help out wherever needed.

With the help of volunteers, FMYSA is able to keep our player costs as low as possible, purchase equipment and help pay for park improvements.

From time to time we need to reach out for a little more help.

Each year for the past 12 years, FMYSA hosts the AAYBA World Series which is our largest fund raising effort each year. The AAYBA World Series funds FMYSA throughout the year and allows us to keep our fields in best conditions for our kids to play on and be proud of.

We are in need of your help to volunteer for the two Opening Days, Saturday June 23rd and Saturday July 7th, and for each of the Trophy Presentation days on June 28th and July 12th.

We have 255 timeslots to fill and are asking our FMYSA family to volunteer a few hours of their time to help make this tournament successful.

This is a great opportunity to be involved with the community and work with other FMYSA members. We also encourage you to get your children involved and schedule your friends to work the same shifts to make the time fun while learning the value of volunteering.

Please go to AAYBA Volunteer Opportunities 2018 to sign up. With 255 time slots there should be a times that will work.

This year the World Series dates are June 23rd - 28th and July 7th - 12th.
